M-43 Service Boots - Natural Chromexcel Rough-out

$765.00 USD

Story:

As a Central California Native John Lofgren, who grew up on a farm in Kingsburg, and I have a lot in common. We'll discuss our shared focus on quality, design, and ethical production standards at another time. But know that John's interpretation of boots sets the gold standard for vintage inspired footwear that money can by. The M-43 Service boot is the pinnacle of his art. Inspired by the original, released in 1943, the basic specifications are the same. Composite Sole, Cowhide Leather upper, welted construction on a standardized last, the goal being a boot that could handle any condition thrown at it. The Lofgren version took these specs and elevated them to make a boot of the highest quality. Utilizing leather from the famed Horween Tannery in Chicago and Vibram components made in the USA. It's pretty clear that if this boot existed in 1943 it would have been highly coveted, just as it is today.
